Job Description Job Description Belflex has partnered with a locale manufacturerand we are looking for a great machinistCORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up and operate Haas CNC lathes/mills to perform machining operations such as turning, boring, threading, facing, etc. on metallic parts of Polypropylene, PVC, HDPE, Polycarbonate, stainless steel, brass, carbon steels, or other non-metallic parts.
Work according to and help develop specifications, tooling instructions and knowledge of machining procedures.
Read prints and factory work orders for specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cuts, and cutting tools.
Position and secure tooling set-up.Insert the workpiece into position and secure it by such methods as mounting between centers, inserting in the chuck, or clamping to the face plate.
Select the method of holding the workpiece which may include making arbor/jaws to complete the job at hand.Adjust controls to set cutting speed and feed rate and to position the tool in relation to the workpiece and run machine.
Verify workpiece machined for correct specifications to tolerances as close as .001 with the use of such measuring instruments as thread gauges, micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and other measuring tools.
Responsible for keeping machines clean and lubricated and for maintaining a clean and orderly work area.Perform duties in accordance with company safety policies. Report unsafe conditions

Requirements:
Must be able to read and interpret complex blueprints.
Two or more years of experience in setting up and operation of CNC mills and/or lathes (Haas a plus)
Responsible for verification adherence to all applicable quality standards
Lean and performance techniques experience preferred.
Ability to clearly communicate in English.
AR Safety sensitive
