Job DescriptionJob Title: Staff - Solutions Architect, Embedded AI Job Location: San Jose, CA Job ID: AI2295 Job Description: Roles and responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Work with customers to understand, design, develop and optimize cutting-edge ML solutions directly used by customers and partners.
• Be a trusted technical advisor to external customers and internal stakeholders. Participate in software design and reviews to ensure delivery of quality products.
• Drive the best development experience for customers on SW and HW platforms by defining product requirements that shape the product direction based on prioritization of customers, and emerging market trends.
• Prepare detailed documentation of system architecture and design. Report progress and challenges to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in embedded and ML systems to apply innovative solutions to business challenges.

Desired background, qualifications, and skills:

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with at least 3+ years of experience.

Must Have:

• Programming fluency in C++ and Python
• Solid understanding of processor architectures, memory management and system level design principles
• Experience in computer architecture, performance analysis and optimization of Deep Learning workloads
• Solid understanding of ML and Deep Learning fundamentals and related development frameworks such as Tensorflow and PyTorch
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision

Preferred:

• Development experience with Embedded Linux (e.g. Yocto) and embedded RTOS is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in lower-level development and working with peripherals such as sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces.
• Experience with DSPs, SIMD or VLIW instruction sets.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $140000 to $ The actual annual salary paid for this position will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skills, prior experiences, qualifications, expertise, work location, total target compensation, training, company needs, and current market demands.
