    Our client is a highly regarded, well-established leader within the financial services space and is hiring a Sr. Software Engineer on a direct-hire basis. This role would be hybrid, based in the Charleston, SC area.     You Will:

    • Be responsible for developing and maintaining software programs to interface between enterprise data, intermediary applications, and end users.
    • Develop software using a combination of procedural, functional, scripting, logic, and object-oriented programming languages.
    • Create clean, efficient, and maintainable code to ensure optimal performance. Create and document programmatic data and application flows based on business requirements in alignment with business processes.
    • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications in a production environment, ensuring the performance, scalability, functionality, and availability of critical business applications for internal/external customers.
    • Document requirements and technical details for software development implementation.

    You Have:

    • 5+ years of software development experience using C# and familiarity with Java 8 or higher.
    • Expertise developing microservices based architecture in a Microsoft ecosystem.
    • Familiarity with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes or similar technologies.
    • Extensive experience building new features, functionality, enhancements and integrations in enterprise applications.
    • A strong understanding of applications architecture and a passion for mentoring junior engineers.
    • Strong business ethics, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skill.
    • Experience with query performance optimization and EDW best practices highly desired.
    • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
    • The ability to direct and conduct research into issues and products as required.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to motivate self and others, working independently in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
    • Comfortable interacting with various levels of management within the organization.
    • Independent, adaptable, flexible, organized, and able to multi-task.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
    • The ability to work for any US Based employer without restrictions and to work onsite in the Charleston, SC area daily.
