    Possess both Undergraduate and

    Graduate Education:
    with a Major studyquality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position

    ORSpecialized Experience:


    Specialized experience for the Lead Quality Assurance Specialist, PG , is that applicants must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the PG-9 grade level or higher that demonstrates the following:1) Utilizing knowledge of quality assurance methods, principles and practices to review production activities and contract quality measurements, and 2) Interpreting and applying product specifications, technical data, regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance and accountability and if needed request corrective action, and 3) Processing data and analyzing quality process control systems using systems such as Lean Six Sigma, to identify unsatisfactory trends or weaknesses in quality assurance control within a division or business unit.

    Background Investigation:
    To ensure the accomplishment of its mission, the GPO requires every employee to be reliable and trustworthy.

    This review could include financial issues such as delinquency in the payment of debts, child support and/or tax obligations, as well as certain criminal offenses and illegal use or possession of drugs.
