    As a Warehouse Associate you will work to process customer orders for shipment on time by accurately pulling, counting, packing, and loading orders onto various carriers.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Pick, pack, and process customer orders.
    • Load and unload trucks as needed.
    • Operates all machinery required to do the job per established safety procedures. This may include a pallet jack and a tow motor.
    • Perform inspections of operating machinery before use.
    • Maintains packaging supplies for the packing area.
    • Assists in keeping the warehouse area neat and orderly.
    • May be required to use a computer to print BOLs, or to ship material.
    • May be cross-trained in other Warehouse functions.

    Education and/or Experience

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Language Skills

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with peers and customers as needed.

    Mathematical Skills

    Ability to accurately identify numbers, and calculate figures, circumference, and volume.

    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    Ability to obtain a Forklift Certification through the company.
