Responsibilities

At Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health social and support services in the heart of Chandler Arizona. As part of our team you will provide clinical expertise; support and oversight that helps ensure our patients receive exceptional care. As a member of our team you will have the opportunity to champion the change by joining in our mission of healing through humankindness.

JOIN US NOW as we are seeking a dynamic OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST to provides excellent patient care including:

Evaluating the patient for treatment providing and directing administration of the care plan upon the referral from the physician.
Consults with other health care disciplines to coordinate therapeutic programs and discharge planning for individual patients.
Instructs patients and caregivers in home program exercises and functional activities.
Assists with patient program management while delivering quality patient services.

This position is a Per Diem.

Qualifications

Minimum:

Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting required.
Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program required.
Computer skills required.
Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider Card.
Arizona State Occupational Therapy License.

Preferred:

Two (2) years progressive experience in clinical area performing patient clinical preferred.
Master's or Doctorate degree in appropriate clinical area preferred.
Prior use of electronic health record preferred.

Pay Range

$ $55.95/hour
