The idea candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem solving skills, and a passion for delivering high quality software products.
Receive project assignments from Project Manager and/or Technical LeadWrite PLC and HMI Application Software
Configure AC and DC Drive Equipment
Provide engineering detail to and work with internal drafting resources to develop drawings
Report on project status and communicate technical issues
Develop system test plan documents, simulation code, and perform system testing
Coordinate with Project Management, Technical Leads, and/ or Customers to commission systems
Engineering degree or equivalent experience in industrial automation
Experience working with PLC, AC, & DC Drive systems, and HMI products
Willingness and desire to participate in ongoing training to maintain technical competency in automation products, software and complimentary areas
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Ability o lead all phases of a project while managing critical milestones and customers
