SAP FICO Solution Architect

Location: Omaha, NE- Onsite

1+ Year Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sap solution architect (record to report), using skills & expertise to deliver cross-functional solutions through program execution for our finance & costing systems and business processes. This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with an aptitude for critical thinking, process improvement, & a demonstrable history of building and managing critical applications. In this role, you will assist in setting the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the finance/costing space including interacting with business and technical resources to identify enhancements, prioritize work streams plus vetting and managing changes in applications

Standard skillset: sap fico s4 Hana

Must have: 8 years of extensive configuration experience for sap finance and costing, master data, transactional and reporting, ricef

Primary responsibilities:

*drive, configure and enhance sap finance and costing solution: master data, transactional and reporting, ricefw

*leading the design, development, test, & production of sw tools/applications including application integrations between software tools

*implementing best practices for developing maintainable production ready software products

*performing application configuration changes to realize the software/process vision you & the team have created

*generating & managing product roadmaps/project plans that define & communicate and deliver on the future projected system/business capabilities

*coordinating & collaborating across multi-discipline/multi-organizational teams to understand key aspects of various subsystems, safety/audit requirements, & operational requirements

*participating in daily operations required to support customer needs (change control, support tickets, user training, etc)

*creating & maintaining comprehensive software documentation including, but not limited to: software requirements, software user guides, & software test plans

Preferred:

*7+ years of experience in implementing & supporting solutions in sap s/4 Hana or sap ecc in the areas of fico with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-value business outcomes

*familiar with s/4 Hana architecture necessary, knowledge of abap de-bugging

*experience with identifying troubleshooting, & designing the required tools, processes, and training are available/effective & programs are supported to achieve success.

*proficiency with Jira, leading stand-ups, delivering results

*ability to motivate/work with others

*agile development methods & scrum experience

*experience designing & developing maintainable production applications.

*excellent written & oral communication skills

*strong organizational skills that enable you to create, communicate, track & execute plans in a team environment

*prior exposure to working successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment emphasizing rapid prototyping & fielding of capabilities, with minimal supervision
