AZAD Technology Partners is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a full-time, W2 Contract position based in Bloomfield, CT

Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours/week, On-Site
Assignment Duration: 12 Months with possibility of extending

Compensation& Benefits:
Compensation is between hourly.

HavetheabilitytomakeengineeringdrawingsandreadandinterpretblueprintsThetechnicalskillsincludetheabilitytomakesketchesandengineeringdrawingsandhaveexperienceusingcomputerapplicationsrelatedtotheengineeringfieldStudytime,motion,methods,andspeedinvolvedinmaintenance,production,andotheroperationstoestablishstandardproductionrateandimproveefficiencyReviewworkerlogs,productprocessingsheets,andspecificationsheets,toverifythatrecordsadheretoqualityassurancespecificationsReviewandapproveworkassignmentsinaccordancewithworkerperformance,machinecapacity,productionschedules,andanticipateddelaysReviewcharts,graphs,anddiagramstoillustrateworkflow,routing,floorlayouts,materialhandling,andmachineutilizationEvaluatedataandreportstovalidateorindicatedeviationsfromexistingstandardsRecommendmodificationstoexistingqualityorproductionstandardstoachieveoptimumqualitywithinlimitsofequipmentcapabilityRecommendrevisiontomethodsofoperation,materialhandling,equipmentlayout,orotherchangestoincreaseproductionorimprovestandardsMinimum Qualifications:
BachelordegreeinMechanicalengineeringrequiredorequivalentexperience

8-10years'experiencerequiredResponsibilitylevelExercisesindependentjudgmentwithminimaldirectionfromsupervisorCreativity,verbalandwrittencommunicationskills,analyticalandproblem-solvingabilityTeamplayeranddetailorientedDisplaysattributesofacriticalthinkerandleveragesinnovativeideasStrongleadershipandmentoringskillsnecessarytoprovidesupportandconstructiveperformancefeedbackDesired Qualifications:
Fanuc-experiencepreferred.
Okuma-experiencepreferred.
Advancedabilitytomakesketches,engineeringdrawingsandcommoncomputations.
Advancedabilitytoreadandinterpretblueprints,technicaldrawing,schematicsandcomputer-generatedreports.
Previousexperiencewithcomputerapplicationsandsoftwarerelatedtoengineeringfield,suchasComputerAidedDesign(CAD).
