    Job Description

    As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings. Your expertise in electrical systems will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment.

    (NO PER DIEM)

    Responsibilities:

    • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, circuits, and equipment in accordance with relevant codes and safety regulations.
    • Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, or malfunctions, and make necessary repairs or replacements.
    • Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
    • Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose and repair electrical issues.
    • Safely handle electrical tools, equipment, and materials while adhering to established safety protocols.
    • Bend and install conduit, cable trays, Install switchgear, connects and disconnect, terminations.
    • Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit.
    • Installs tubing for instruments.
    • Pulls wiring through conduit and labels appropriately.

    Requirements:

    • Valid Electrician's License (Apprentice/Journeyman).
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience working as an Industrial Journeyman Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
    • Common tools needed include hand tools, power tools (saws, drills), machinery (conduit cutters), multimeters, tubing bender and cutters.
    • OSHA 10 Certified.

    Location: Taylor Tx.

    Shift:

    Full time: Mon – Fri Start time 6:00am
