A defense research and development company is seeking a Distributed Software Engineer (AWS/Azure) to join their team in Orange County, CA.

This individual will design, Implement, test, and maintain distributed software applications on AWS or MS Azure. Additionally, this individual will lead a team of programmers in creating these applications. This is a permanent, hybrid position.

Master's degree

Senior level experience creating distributed software applications

Experience programming in Matlab, LabVIEW, Julia, and/or VHDL

Active DoD security clearance
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and/or maintain a security clearance

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical degree

5+ years' experience creating and testing distributed software applications

Ability to use C/C++, Python, and GIT

Ability to create and implement distributed cloud architectures in AWS and/or Azure
