    Commercial Insurance Marketer, Placement Specialist for this Top 100 insurance brokerage's Boston division, you are responsible for coordinating placement activity for new and existing clients.

    Your goal is to facilitate, coordinate, and execute brokering strategies plus create more capacity for the current marketing team. You'll consult with and support client service and sales teamson critical account renewals and key new business initiatives.

    Assist

    sales and service teams with the new business sales process.

    You will qualify leads, create a marketing strategy based on your analysis of risk exposures, and go to market handling the underwriting negotiations.

    Evaluate

    claims data, pricing trends, and coverage enhancements to compose the best possible, most comprehensive insurance program for clients.

    Set

    timelines with sales and service staff to prepare submissions, quote submissions using online rating systems,anticipate negotiations and sales presentations.

    Develop relationships with underwriters and insurance company representatives to gain a sense for market appetite and competitiveness.

    Consult with producers and account managers, providing market insight abouthow to market their accounts and appropriate coverage structures.

    At least five (5) years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience in risk analysis and marketing.


    Qualified applicants possess have worked as either a Desk Underwriter, Wholesale Broker, or Placement Specialist with a retail insurance agency.


    Requires a well-rounded commercial property and casualty background with full knowledge of New England insurance markets, lines of business trends, and coverage development.

    Working for the Boston division, a hybrid schedule is preferred for local applicants however the company is open to a more flexible arrangement for individuals living in surrounding communities in other parts ofMassachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
