The Apple Pi Math Specialist is a dedicated middle school interventionist responsible for supporting students who have fallen behind in key pre-algebra and algebraic concepts.
You will work with small groups (Tier 2 & Tier 3 intervention) to solidify the "core" skills necessary for high school success.
- Deliver focused instruction on the most critical middle school math hurdles: rational numbers (fractions/decimals), ratios/proportions,& early algebraic expressions.
- Explicitly teaches the transition from concrete arithmetic to abstract geometry and algebra (variables,& formulas,& functions).
