- Design and coordinate electrical systems for MEP Projects
- Ensure that all designs are compliant with local codes and regulations
- Provide technical expertise to project managers and other engineers
- Work closely with clients and contractors to ensure project success
- Manage project timelines and budgets
- Survey existing site conditions and capturing those conditions utilizing a 3D Laser scanner
- Create complete and accurate drawings, plans, diagrams, details, & Notes for use in construction document packages
- Conduct site visits and provide support during construction
- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- Participate in business development and client relations activities
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; PE License Preferred
- 8+ years experience in the design and coordination of electrical systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
- Proficient in AutoCad, Revit, and other design software
- Must be detail oriented and quality driven
- Must have strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to read and understand electrical, architectural, structural, and mechanical construction documents
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute multiple assignments simultaneously
- Experience in business development and client management
