    Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
    Inpatients, Outpatients, ER

    Required License, National Certification, Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, etc.)
    , or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:

    BLS, ACLS


    Skills required:


    Competently operates angiographic equipment used to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures, including but not limited to: biopsy, para/thoracentesis, abscess drainages, peripheral vascular stenting, catheter placement, thrombolytic therapy, and embolization.

    Acts as a scrub assistant on basic interventional and surgical procedures, receiving direction from attending and resident physicians.
    Identifies and processes images, assuring that images are of diagnostic quality. Assists clinical engineering staff in evaluating digital equipment to maintain consistent image quality.
    Experience in vascular and cerebral vascular procedures both diagnostic and interventional required

    Advanced IR or C/V registry preferred

    Department specific Equipment:
    Philips PACS, Philips fluoro rooms, ultrasound.
    Experience with Philips Azurion M20 system.
