    Description
    Ensure operationsare carried out in a manner that safety is evident in everything we do.

    Responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of dry ice by assuringqualified drivers and equipment are available to implement the daily schedule Hires Drivers to ensure regulatory compliance with all FDA, DOT, and otherGovernment requirements, as well as compliance with all Matheson/CCPI policiesand procedures.

    Completes all training required to fulfill the position of distributionmanager. Understand the distribution managers' role and function in implementing allcompany policies and procedures. Monitor training needs of employees and assure that the training is deliveredon-time. Responsible for administering and/or verifying that the employee hassuccessfully completed the Qualification related to any specific trainingrequirement. Ensures investigation of any vehicle accident or employee injury and initiationof appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

    Ensures 3rd party maintenance providers/vendors are maintaining equipment andcontrolling costs by scheduling preventative maintenance to ensure maximumutilization, maximum life expectancy and safe operation.

    Works with carriers or brokers, as necessary, to ensure safe, timely, andefficient delivery of our products.

    Works with customers, sales, and service to ensure safe and efficient access tocustomers and to support all sales activities related to distribution.

    Provides Scheduling Center with all necessary information needed to compile anefficient schedule. Must maintain detailed records of service, inspection, and vehicle reports Utilize and maintain all computer based tools. Ensure maintenance and utilization of On-board Computers and Drive Cams. On-call after normal working hours, due to the 24-hour distribution network.


    Safety:


    Promote a "zero"vehicle accident/injury frequency rate Conduct monthly safety meetings Ensure total compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines both oncompany property and off-site while performing work Ensure that all operations are performed with regard to the safety and healthof all personnelOperations:Maintain and/orsupervise the maintenance of all records of daily operation with regard toemployee information, DOT and FDA regulations, service reports, vehiclemaintenance and inspection reports, driver logs and hours to meet company,state and federal regulations for safety and documentation.

    Takes responsibility to ensure that location meets or exceeds operational goalsand objectives Monitors and insures that the location budget is not exceededCustomerSatisfaction:
    Direct andsupervise Drivers to maintain a safe, smooth, and profitable operation andensure that product is delivered to customers as required, within establishedcost parameters while meeting customer needsEmployeeDevelopment:Mediate employeeproblems with regard to all Matheson/CCPI policies and procedures as well asfederal and government rules Takes responsibility for personnel development while promoting employee growth Ensures that all employees attend required monthly

    EmployeeQualifications/Requirements:
    Practical experience in transportation - trucking operations Excellent organizational and supervisory skills. 3-5 years preferred -especially with truck drivers.

    Good mechanical aptitude - understanding of vehicle maintenance Thorough knowledge of all FDA, DOT, and cGMP rules and regulations Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft products Knowledge of on board computers and drive cams helpfulAll qualified applicants will receiveconsideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex,sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protectedveteran status.
