    Description

    The Brand Strategy and Management team in Modern Life, Search & Devices is seeking a Brand Manager to lead brand strategy, naming, brand creative reviews, education, and guidance for Microsoft Edge.

    As the Global Brand Manager for these products, you will partner closely with product marketing, the IMC, our internal creative studio, digital, retail, events and product design teams to drive cohesive, on-strategy brand expression and execution across channels and experiences. The role requires strong collaboration, project leadership, influencing and communication skills.

    We recognize that some training and support may be needed to build skills specific to the branding disciple (e.g. naming) and specific, individual product branding. Microsoft experience is strongly preferred.

    Responsibilities include:

    Leading feature and high-priority experience naming

    Creating and updating brand guidelines

    Providing brand strategy perspective as an input to photoshoots and creative development

    Reviewing creative materials, providing brand feedback and guidance

    Educating key internal partners on our brand strategy and identity system

    Partnering with user experience and engineering teams to ensure appropriate brand execution in-product

    Exploring and identifying ways to innovate meaningfully in brand-building

    Qualifications:

    5+ years of brand management experience

    Strong communication and collaboration skills

    Ability to think strategically and creatively, while maintaining attention to detail

    Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills

    Microsoft experience is preferred
