- Collaborate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both in one-on-one and group settings, under the supervision of an SLP.
- Assist with the assessment of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy techniques accordingly.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' communication needs in the classroom.
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in the state of California.
- Prior experience working as an SLPA in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to develop and implement creative and engaging therapy techniques.
