    Pay Range - $62, $91, Actual base pay based on factors such as relevant experience, education, market, qualifications, and skills)GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONThe role of a Sales Administrator is to manage incoming customer inquiries and assist outside Sales with daily sales administration activities.

    This includes the opportunity to work closely with the Sales team on handling customer orders and fulfillment requirements, follow through on delivery, price inquiries, and payment discrepancies, and have a wide latitude of communications with customers.

    The position also serves as a liaison with other departments and performs a wide range of administrative duties related to the daily operations of the Sales departments.

    Other responsibilities may include researching new product inquiries, inventory management, and open order status reports.

    The Sales Administrator must handle a high volume of orders accurately and have a strong working knowledge of the sales procedures to assist the internal and external customers and the Sales Team.

    The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task, work independently and have a proactive approach.
    REQUIREMENTS2-year degree in Business Administration or equivalent experienceMinimum 5+ years of customer service or related experience.

    Manufacturing, logistics, or technology industry experience preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSAP or other ERP experience preferredMust be able to work accurately with high attention to detailUp to 10% of travel, local and domesticIntermediate computer skills including Excel and PowerPointOutstanding organizational and multitasking skillsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Enters and maintains sales records or customer changes by obtaining required information; double checks the accuracy of sales and credit teams.

    Communicate with Japanese colleagues daily.
    Acts as a liaison between customers and production in problem-solving and expediting orders.
    Performs fulfillment of orders from intake to delivery using the SAP system.
    Prepares and maintains status reports in a variety of information and tracking tools.
    May travel to customer sites, attend tradeshows, or drive sales activity within your own account base.
    May train sales support team on a variety of duties. Models the " customer first principle" to ensure the customer is informed and satisfied with Kyocera.
    May travel with or without sales staff on business development activities.
    Generates monthly reports on shipments, sales orders, cancellations, and transfers.
    Collaborative skills are needed to liaise with the Logistics department to confirm timely deliveries.
    Commitment to meeting or exceeding sales targets, and reporting any deviations or trends when discovered.
    Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and succeed under deadlines. Balance own sales account activity while supporting multiple outside sales reps.
    Sales event planning as assigned.
    Other duties as assigned.
