We are seeking a Strategic Buyer with a blend of technical acumen and strategic thinking to join the team. This role will report to the Head of Indirect Procurement with responsibility for defining regional strategy for North America in collaboration with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute a North & South America supplier strategy, tapping into the untapped potential of regional suppliers
• Supply Chain Optimization: Drive process improvements, negotiate services and spare parts, and proactively identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Global Collaboration: Interact with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders, showcasing intercultural competency and effective communication skills.

Your Profile:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Business field.
• Experience: 5+ in Procurement or Supply Chain roles, showcasing advanced negotiation skills and a strategic mindset.
• Technical Acumen: Ability to tap into the technical side of procurement, understanding machinery and equipment specifications.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Applications; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 30% to support global initiatives and supplier engagements.
