    Description
    GPIis seekinga mid-level highway engineer for our Albany, NY office. Individuals will assist with a variety of NYSDOT transportation projects.

    Knowledge of the design development process for various NYSDOT, NYSTA, county, and/or private projects
    Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD design specifications, NYS standard specifications, NYS Highway Design Manual or NYS Bridge Design Manual
    drainage; hydraulic and hydrology analysis
    5 to 10 years of experience designing Transportation projects in New York including roadways, bridges, andtrails
    Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
    Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
