This position manages essential day-to-day functions across program execution, roster management, technology enablement, and partner communication. It demands a true dual skillset: thriving in hands-on, detail-oriented operational work while also excelling in external partnership management.
Working cross-functionally with teams across Licensing, Legal, Technology, and Business Operations, this role will ensure accuracy, consistency, and high performance across all aspects of the college program. With more than 20,000 college athletes currently part of OneTeam's group licensing program, including partnerships with EA Sports College Football and Fanatics, this is a dynamic, hands-on opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about empowering college athletes.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Execution
- Own day-to-day operational processes for the college licensing program, including roster updates, athlete onboarding, data management, and program execution across high-volume workflows.
- Maintain and update core systems (e.g, COMPASS and DLH) while ensuring data integrity for athlete, school, and licensee information; dig into discrepancies, transfers, eligibility changes, and syncing issues.
- Track key deliverables and timelines for product launches and promotional activity; ensure cross-functional teams and schools are aligned on timing and requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for university/school partners, responding promptly to inquiries on roster management, payments, athlete performance, program participation, and overall satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and decks outlining program benefits, athlete opt-in/performance metrics, revenue distributions, and success stories to strengthen school relationships and drive continued engagement.
- Conduct proactive outreach to schools, agencies, and high-impact athletes to support quality-of-rights expansion, onboarding, and program growth.
- Act as operational support and liaison between OneTeam and key technology platforms to support the College NIL program.
- Troubleshoot issues related to athlete/school access, roster syncing, and product approvals in collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
- Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of the college NIL technology platform, including process documentation and partner training.
- Partner with internal teams (Legal, Licensing, Finance, Business Operations, and Sponsorship) to support smooth execution of agreements and product activations.
- Build strong working relationships with college partners, schools, licensees, athlete representatives, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Assist with school, agency and athlete outreach in support of quality-of-rights efforts and onboarding of high-impact athletes.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal workflows, tools, and partner experiences.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director and leadership team to inform strategic planning, OKR tracking, and program reporting.
- Support preparation for college-related pitch materials, presentations, and industry events.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.

- 4+ years of experience in college athletics, sports licensing, NIL, or a related field
- Proven ability to manage operational workflows with a strong attention to detail
- High level skill and comfort with creating and delivering external presentations
- Experience working with external partners, vendors, or clients in a professional setting
- Comfort with systems such as CRMs, licensing platforms (e.g., DLH), Excel, and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience leading teams, projects or initiatives
- Ability to manage complex partner relationships and cross-functional workflows
- Passion for college sports, athlete advocacy, and OneTeam's mission
