M&J Engineering, P.C. is seeking a full time Resident Engineer with a NY PE License and 5-10 years experience with at least 5 years of Resident Engineering experience for MTA/TBTA project. Excellent communications and client relations skills are a must, with the ability to manage a large staff of field personnel and work as a team player.

Responsibilities:

Supervise inspection staff and Assistant Resident Engineer to complete assignments and delivery of daily inspector reports in accordance with clients requirements
Provides daily on-site construction management and site inspections.
Provides technical review of construction plans, specifications, and project changes for constructability and practicality.
Responsible for overall site safety, permit condition compliance, and coordination with other agencies.
Monitors Contractor performance, schedule, overall responsiveness, and effectiveness.
Maintain project goals regarding cost, schedule, quality, etc.

Qualifications:

Electrical Engineer with MTA/TBTA experience.
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or a closely related field.
NY Professional Engineer (PE) License required
