    Role Purpose: As Operator 1, you will be responsible for assisting with raw material staging, equipment operation, plant maintenance, and preparation of finished goods.

    Position Reports to: Production and Safety Manager

    Positions Reporting to this Position: none

    Shifts Available:

    • 3rd Shift: 8:00pm-6:30am Monday to Thursday
    Requirements:

    Role Objectives:

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Drops, sterilizes, and operates filter presses
    • Assists with loading the tanks with raw materials utilizing pumping, pouring, and scooping methods
    • Maintains the cleanliness of the facility, equipment, and containers
    • Operates a forklift, high lift, and pallet truck, as needed
    • Assists with drum filling, following sterile guidelines, drum rolling and palletizing
    • Checks labeling and container weight accuracy
    • Follows special handling procedures and safety requirements when working with caustic, acidic and flammable chemicals
    • Performs general repairs and maintenance as needed

    Requirements:

    Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    • Mechanical experience recommended.
