Job Overview

The Service Lane Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our service department. This position oversees day-to-day operations, manages service advisors, and provides exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a team of service advisors to ensure excellent customer experience and high-quality workmanship
• Monitor and optimize the flow of vehicles in the service lane to maintain efficiency and meet customer expectations
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
• Develop strategies to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction
• Ensure accurate documentation and processing of all service requests
• Evaluate service advisor performance and implement corrective actions when necessary
• Foster collaboration with other departments to streamline processes and improve the overall customer experience
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and services to provide expert guidance

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of automotive service software
• Valid driver's license
