What You'll Do

Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities while screening staff, visitors, and deliveries at assigned entrances.

Verify identification, credentials, and/or appointment information; manage visitor sign-in and issue temporary passes in accordance with site requirements.

Conduct entry screening such as visual inspections, package screening, and/or use of screening equipment as trained; help to deter prohibited items from entering the location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.

Complete required reports and logs, communicate screening results and unusual activity to on-site personnel, and perform occasional interior and/or exterior patrols to support a visible presence.

Minimum Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
