    Description

    We seek a skilled and motivated administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for infrastructure, a strong understanding of software development principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to developing innovative software solutions that drive our organization's success.

    Responsibilities:

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements & help design solutions.

    Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

    Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and incorporate them into projects as appropriate.

    Contribute to continuously improving development processes, tools, and methodologies.

    Document software designs, technical specifications, and development processes.

    Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure and processes to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.

    Develop and implement best AWS resource provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance practices.

    Monitor AWS services and resources, proactively identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal operation and performance.

    Implement and maintain security best practices, including IAM (Identity and Access Management), encryption, and compliance standards.

    Manage AWS billing and cost optimization efforts, including monitoring usage, implementing cost-saving strategies, and forecasting future expenses.

    Configure and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and CloudFormation.

    Implement automation solutions using AWS tools (e.g., AWS CLI, AWS SDKs, AWS CloudFormation, AWS Lambda) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

    Document AWS architectures, configurations, procedures, and processes.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

    Experience in software development, including proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript).

    Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

    Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA), and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack).

    Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

    Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

    Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.

    Proven experience managing AWS environments in a production setting, with a strong understanding of AWS services and architecture.

    Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

    Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

    Knowledge of networking concepts and experience configuring AWS networking components (e.g., VPC, subnetting, routing).

    Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, and ELK Stack.

    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex AWS-related issues.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with the AWS cloud computing.

    Proficiency with Unix-like systems.

    Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containers.

    Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

    Certifications relevant to software development and programming (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate).
