    Description


    LVI is proudly representing a leading full-service engineering and consulting firm with a outstanding repair and restoration team this reputable firm is home to multiple specialists providing expertise across a diverse collection of services including, structural engineering, water intrusion assessments, parking garages, roofing & waterproofing, new construction and many more.

    Due to their high standard of project delivery, they have won several large repair and restoration projects in Atlanta and are looking to hire a structural engineer who specializes in repair and restoration of mid to high-rise buildings.

    As a structural engineer you will be responsible for overseeing commercial and multi-family, structural repair/restoration projects. You will work to design repairs for mid to high-rise buildings as well as some parking structures.

    As a structural engineer based at the firms Atlanta office, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to diagnose and restore large structures.

    Responsibilities
    Work closely with clients to develop effective remediation strategies.
    Undertake site visits and inspections to identify potential issues and hazards.
    Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring that deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to.
    Assist in the field review of existing structures.
    Meet with potential and current clients to communicate progress and solve issues.
    Perform project design, production of reports, specifications, and drawings.
    Perform project structural engineering analysis and design;
    Assist team during the evaluation phase, including field review of existing structures, writing reports, developing repair options, construction cost estimates;
    Requirements
    Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
    5+ years of relevant experience with proven growth
    Professional Engineer in Georgia (Multiple states preferred)
    Strong technical, written and verbal communication including strong people management skills and customer service focused.
