Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for evening shifts at a Level III trauma acute care facility, requiring ARRT CT certification and experience with GE CT equipment.
ResponsibilitiesPosition is based in a short-term acute care hospital and Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds
Role involves working in the CT department and floating between two facilities in CT and RI
Uses GE CT equipment and the Epic EMR system
Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 14:45 to 23:15
Call and weekend coverage required as needed for the department
Position requires floating between two hospital facilities in CT and RI
Epic EMR experience is preferred
Up to 7 days of time off may be approved automatically by the facility
Locals accepted at a different rate; 75-mile radius rule does not apply to this position
Past permanent staff must be separated for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
Scrubs provided according to facility requirements
Requirements
ARRT CT certification required
Minimum 1.5 years of hospital experience as a CT Technologist
BLS certification required
Experience with GE CT equipment required
Ability to obtain state licenses for Connecticut and Rhode Island; license required if applicable
Flu vaccine required, no declinations accepted
COVID-19 vaccination and booster required with medical or religious exemptions only
