We are searching for associate to partner-level attorneys who practice family law. This firm offers great benefits and competitive compensation that is negotiable depending on experience and if you have an existing portfolio of clients or demonstrated ability to bring clients in.

    Example Job Responsibilities:

    • Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memorandum
    • Guide clients through the case process
    • Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports, and affidavits
    • Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances

    Minimum and Additional Qualifications:

    • A JD from an accredited law school and a member of the SC Bar in good standing
    • 4+ years experience practicing as an attorney with knowledge of and experience in family law litigation
    • Strong legal writing skills including experience in drafting briefs and other legal documents
    • Ability to express arguments and conclusions clearly and logically
    • Ability to maintain composure and sensitivity in emotional or high-stress litigation
    • Ability to communicate with clients compassionately, politely and in a way that puts them at ease
    • Strong personal work ethic and ability to organize time, manage diverse activities, and meet critical deadlines with minimal supervision
    • Detail-oriented, hardworking, and results-driven team player
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience trying cases, preferred but not required
