    Leidos National Security Sector is in search of a Senior Program Manager. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to spearhead business enhancements across departments, focusing on integrating transportation and financial processes at the transaction level. This initiative aims to enhance the financial management of the Department of Defense's Transportation of Things, addressing auditability requirements and closing identified gaps. The desired solution encompasses various aspects such as Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy adjustments, along with the implementation of a commercial-off-the-shelf Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution throughout the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE). Please note that this opportunity is subject to contract approval.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as the primary liaison for the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer's Representative, and the Government Program Manager.
    • Lead and mentor employees, oversee professional development, recruitment, and issue resolution within the program.
    • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to guide technical resources, report on progress, and address challenges, in addition to drafting and reviewing technical documents.
    • Expand the business portfolio by fostering partnerships with local and national entities to pursue contract prospects.
    • Supervise program and project managers, offering guidance and resolving complex issues to ensure program success.
    • Regularly engage with employees and clients to grasp requirements and capabilities.
    • Collaborate with Business Development to establish a robust pipeline of short-term and long-term opportunities.
    • Embrace new technologies to create competitive advantages within current programs and targeted prospects.
    • Serve as a senior interface for customer interactions, representing Division leadership.
    • Work with the Deputy Program Manager and other key roles to oversee program activities aligning with objectives.
    • Ensure efficient resource management to achieve program goals while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
    • Contribute to various program aspects such as cost management, schedule estimation, risk mitigation, and quality assurance.
    • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to meet technical, financial, and performance requirements for successful program completion.
    • Supervise daily operations, ensure timely deliverables, and manage recruitment, training, and quality control for a large-scale ERP program.
    • Oversee program and project requirements, including staffing, GFE accountability, and tasking responses.

    Key Requirements

    • Eligibility for a DoD Secret security clearance with U.S. citizenship.
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations research, computer science, business management, or related fields.
    • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience overseeing complex IT programs, with certifications such as PgMP/PMP being advantageous.
    • Experience managing programs with annual revenues exceeding $75M, along with prior involvement in multi-task contracts and subcontract management.
    • Proven track record in leading Large Solution Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) teams.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Strong familiarity with the customer.
    • Active Secret security clearance.
    • Experience in large-scale SAP implementations.
    • Background in leading ERP implementations.
    • Demonstrated ability in overseeing complex IT programs for Defense organizations.
    • Well-versed in cross-functional collaboration for successful project delivery.
