Sr. Linux Systems Engineer Job Summary

We are actively hiring a Sr. Linux Systems Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Mission Technology Division in Warrenton, VA.

Responsibilities and Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Perform systems engineering and software development in large enterprise server environments.
Provide technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.
Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
Prepare required documentation.
Assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures.
Perform technical evaluations and analysis.
Support the customer in developing and maintaining systems baseline.
Assess server loads and develop tuning recommendations.
Complete day-to-day Operations & Maintenance tasks.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Python, Ruby, Bash, PHP languages.
Experience with AWS, CloudFormation, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
Experience with configuration management software.
Experience with cloud computing.
Experience with CaaS (Kubernetes and OpenShift).
