Senior Cloud Security Engineer at Company X

Are you ready to take on the role of Senior Cloud Security Engineer at Company X in Alameda, CA? You will join our Information Security & Compliance team with a focus on technical expertise, analysis, and processes.

Design and develop innovative security solutions for cloud applications and data protection.
Create and maintain security strategies for infrastructure and software deployments.
Enhance security reporting and manage vulnerability testing and compliance.
Monitor security controls effectiveness across domains such as IAM, CI/CD pipeline, and Incident Management.
Collaborate with operations on SOC tools and ensure adherence to security frameworks.
Identify and resolve security gaps in Azure and cloud services across various platforms.
Automate security controls, evaluate alerts, and develop event response processes.
Work with security leadership to implement security strategies and processes.
Review company architecture from a security perspective and provide recommendations.
Enforce and audit cloud security policies, procedures, and standards.
Comply with quality management and global security regulations.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in computer science with 8+ years of experience in cloud security.
Azure cloud certification and hands-on expertise with Azure technologies.
Experience with Azure security tools and third-party security solutions.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Azure Directory services, and security policies.
Knowledge of API-based security standards and Unix/Linux scripting.
Skills in programming languages like NodeJS, Python, and automation tools like Ansible.
Understanding of cloud deployment patterns, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
