You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST in the TRANSPORTATION BRANCH of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE.

Duties

• You will conduct studies and special surveys to determine the current, projected, normal and emergency vehicle/ automotive equipment requirements or replacement of equipment.
• You will receive and physically inspect all new equipment.
• You will schedule transportation requests, assign operators and determine the type of vehicle/equipment required to support requests.
• You will ensure the government and/or Base Operating Support Contractor (BOSC) meets financial program management requirements.
• You will monitor and evaluate directives, instruction, regulations and policies related to the Transportation business line for potential impacts on program and funding.
• You will compile data on the estimated repair costs of equipment.
• You will maintain pre-expended stock parts bin and requisitions parts and materials used by Transportation personnel.
