• Provide legal counsel and representation to the firm's clients from pre-trial through trial
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, written discovery, and agreements
• Attend court hearings, depositions, trials, and client meetings
• Conduct legal research and case analysis
• Collaborate with senior associates and partners on case strategy
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management What You will Need to Succeed
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California State Bar
• 2-5 years' experience in the defense of medical malpractice cases and/or General Liability
• Strong understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures
• Strong litigation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
