    This is a full-time position located in Arlington VA

    This is an exempt position.


    Provides outreach to the business community to locate employment opportunities, primarily in the Information Technology, Cybersecurity or career-adjacent positions, advocates to secure interviews, and advocates with potential employers for hiring referred candidates and/or providing employer education for hiring a diverse workforce.


    Provides abilIT graduates (alumni) with Job Development and support services, regarding job development and placement, for assisting them in their job search activities, such as resume development/revision; strengthening candidate interview skills, working with business partners to provide mock interviews; and assist as needed in the onboarding process in conjunction with the employer.

    Assist Program Director in conducting periodic job fairs at Melwood campuses, or attending job fairs to increase business contacts/network. Provides consistent outreach to the business community to develop and maintain business relationships. Provides periodic presentations regarding the abilIT program and alumni qualifications for entering employment.


    Targets unemployed alumni for job development services, and follows-up with alumni on a regular basis to assist in reaching their career goals.

    Assists participants in developing and implementing Career Development Plans (CDP) to include outlining employment goals and objectives.

    Submits and maintains participant data regarding Career Development Plans, job development activities, placements, promotions, etc. in the Efforts to Outcomes data management system (ETO).

    Other duties as assigned to be determined by Program Directors.
