Real Estate Investor Service is seeking a full-time Community Association Manager working from our office in Elmhurst. The Manager will oversee and coordinate all property management for a portfolio of homeowner, townhome, and condo associations.The manager will be responsible for daily operation, obtaining bids for property improvements, creating and maintaining the annual budget and acting as a liaison between the association Board and unit owners.
The property manager is responsible for supervising the properties to ensure they are run in an efficient manner in regards to maintenance, accounting (with the assistance of the bookkeeping department), and owner/tenant satisfaction.
A successful candidate is a good communicator and problem-solver with keen judgment and excellent follow-through. Strong attention to detail and organization are necessary for success in this role, as well as Customer Service.Essential Responsibilities and Expectations:
Manage Day to Day property operations
Obtain bids for property improvements
Create and maintain the annual budget
Act as a liaison between Board and unit owner
Perform regular inspections and coordinate the maintenance & repair of building systems
Attend board meetings
Arrange and oversee contract service representatives
Investigate tenant disturbances, violations or complaints and resolve problems per regulations established by the board of directors
Supervise maintenance, janitorial and grounds keeping staff who perform routine repairs and maintain buildings and grounds
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
3+ years in Illinois Condominium Association Management preferred. Portfolio experience strongly preferred, but not required
Licensed Community Association Manager (please submit a copy of current license with application)
Familiarity with the Illinois Condominium Property act
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Superior customer service skills and orientation
Ability to maintain professionalism at all times
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints, without direct supervision
Sound troubleshooting skills and the capacity to fully resolve problems
Vehicle and valid license for travel (mileage reimbursement available)
