    Our client is a 50 person Real Estate investment startup with offices across Chicago, New York and Puerto Rico.

    They focus on multi-family residential real estate development, acquisitions, asset and property management, leasing and corporate real estate services in up and coming neighborhoods.

    The Company has developed, owned or managed more than 2000 multi-family apartment units valued in excess of $200 million.

    About the opportunity:
    They are currently seeking a fantastic

    Operations Support Specialist

    to support the global administrative duties. This is a tremendous opportunity to be part of a fast-growing company with a very entrepreneurial culture

    The role is based out of Puerto Rico and is 100% remote.

    What you will do as an Operations Specialist:
    Provide global administrative support to the Chicago Operations team while working remotely in Puerto Rico.

    Assists as needed with utility requests, answering billing inquiries, collect, organize, and send a cumulus of invoices as requested for property sales, rebates, etc.

    Produce, generate, and update routine reporting documents and spreadsheets.
    Upload information to their real estate software, AppFolio as requested CHA/Subsidy tenant related documents, leases, notices, etc.

    Assists as needed on leasing office calls and inquires, work order creation for initials, re-inspections, specials and abatements, inspection calendar updates and general subsidy work order creation.

    Draft leases as requested and assign work orders in AppFolio.
    Operate cross functionally to execute on special projects.
    Performs basic research and compiles documents needed for various reports and management-level documents.
    Work both individually and in a team environment to complete objectives.
    Perform other related duties/administrative work as assigned including tenant relations.
    Specific areas of impact / full ownership of projects in the following areas:
    Leases
    Subsidy paperwork – Chicago Housing Association/ Changes of Ownership
    Landlord Verifications
    Upload notices from the field
    Update software data upon notice receipt from field

    The successful candidate will possess the following:
    Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
    Intermediate English speaker (fluent is a plus)
    AppFolio or similar software experience (a plus)
    Basic to intermediate knowledge in Excel required
    Demonstrated ability of excelling in fast paced operations environments
    Entrepreneurial and will to work remote (work from home experience preferred)
    Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, prioritize, & meet deadlines
    Excellent organization and time management skills
    Demonstrates professionalism and can maintain a positive attitude
    Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations and design effective processes
    Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
    Needs little handholding and looking to join a high growth firm
