    Job Details:

    • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
    • Self-scheduling managed by unit manager based on needs
    • Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
    • Floating requirements to all inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU
    • Must maintain 1:1-2 nurse to patient ratios in ICU, 1:4 in PCU
    • Work in 18-bed Trauma ICU serving adults and pediatric patients over 15 years old
    • Care for patients with various trauma injuries, sepsis, stroke, ARDS, MODS, COPD, and cardiac arrest
    • Required to titrate vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmic drips
    • Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips using Draeger heart monitoring system
    • Work with advanced equipment including CVPs, IABP, Impella, arterial lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, EV-1000, and ICP monitoring

    Required certifications:
    ACLS, BLS, NIHSS


    • Must pass open book skills exam with 90% score during orientation or face contract termination
    • Navy blue scrubs required
    • 2 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided
    • Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
    • Must be located outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities
    • No first-time travelers accepted
    • Driver's license required at submittal for radius verification

    The facility features an 18-bed Trauma ICU equipped with advanced monitoring and life support technology, serving as a regional referral center that receives numerous transfers and emergency department admissions.

    The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes EPIC charting systems to ensure comprehensive documentation and coordination of care.
