- Care for patients in the UHealth outpatient settings
- Conduct EMGs at Uhealth, JMH and develop the EMG service at Uhealth Tower
- Train/mentor physicians and staff
- Preparation and presentation at teaching conferences
- Develop research program in Neuromuscular Disorder
- Obtain data and results that can be used to submit an application for future clinical research awards
- Will conduct EMGs testing at Uhealth and JMH clinics and develop the EMG service at the University of Miami Hospital
- Will participate in the educational and mentorship activities of the Neuromuscular Division and the Department of Neurology
- Requires an MD degree from a recognized accredited University (or foreign equivalent)
- Neuromuscular Fellowship is also required and board certification in Neurology is strongly recommended
- Eligible for Florida Medical License
- Strong clinical and research background in the areas of clinical or translational research in Neuromuscular Disorder
- Good communications skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other employees
- Good organizational skills
