Job summary
While on duty, the PCS Supervisor acts as the Administrator of the Day (AOD). PCS Supervisors contribute to covering the 24/7 A of the Day shifts. Responsible for overall coordination of patient flow and services delivered to clients; works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.
The Patient Care Supervisory team is responsible for following plans to ensure quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total patient care services including, but not limited to, a bed management plan, plan for services beyond capacity and plans to enhance coordination of care and ensure good communication with hand-offs between settings.
