    Description


    The Music Department of Colby College invites applications for an Applied Music Instructor in French horn (one year, part-time, renewable) beginning fall semester 2024.

    Qualifications

    The successful candidate will have experience in playing and teaching French horn. Principal duties will include teaching applied French horn lessons and performing as Principal Horn with the Colby Symphony Orchestra and Colby Wind Ensemble Attendance is required at weekly orchestra and wind rehearsals.) The person occupying the position will also be expected to be actively involved in the music department efforts to attract qualified student musicians to the College.
