    We are currently looking for a Full Time IT Systems Administrator III EPIC to join our IT Shared Services team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.

    Summary:


    This position of IT Systems Administrator III - EPIC executes administrative functions for all enterprise server and storage services for the Chickasaw Nation, focusing on managing and improving the technology upon which our health system relies on for Epic, our EMR tool, and other tools and platforms.

    This position is responsible for the virtual server, physical server, and storage administration including systems software, configuration, updating and monitoring on all Chickasaw Nation's environments.

    Systems Administrators receive direction, design, and coordination from the Systems Engineering, Management staff within the Enterprise Systems team.

    • Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
    • Upgrades, installs and troubleshoots networks, networking hardware devices and software
    • Collaborates to develop a strategy for implementing regular upgrades and maintenance of Epic systems
    • Works with the Environment and Release Manager to develop a strategy for implementing regular upgrades and maintenance of Epic systems
    • Identifies, researches, and resolves application-related issues by responding to tickets created in the Incident Management System in a timely manner
    • Provides support for installing and implementing system patches, service utilities, and version upgrades as assigned
    • Installs and maintains administrative and monitoring tools necessary for high levels of availability and performance of healthcare application systems
    • Monitors network and web server activity using intrusion detection techniques for security breaches
    • Assists with capacity planning and performance management of critical servers and applications.
    • Creates and maintains system documentation standards for server and storage specifications, designs, procedures, and Disaster Recovery plans.
    • Monitors server and storage performance and performs testing to provide diagnosis of issues and to assist with deployment of solutions
    • Perform file system management
    • Assists with technology planning through ongoing research and contribution to projects

    • Bachelors of Business
    Credentials:

    • CompTia
    • Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position
    • Pass gaming background check
    • Standard Driver's License
