- Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in building construction, maintenance, and/or custodial work, preferably in a school or government setting;
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a related field;
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. A contractor license in one or more of the building or maintenance trades may be substituted for the required college education. Additional relevant experience beyond the required 5 years may be substituted for the required college education on a two-for-one year basis;
- Possess or obtain upon employment, a valid Class III California Driver's License;
- Provide proof of automobile insurability;
- Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties safely and effectively, including lifting fifty (50) pounds on an occasional basis and in excess of fifty (50) pounds with assistance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
