- You will perform complex aspects of masonry.
- You will plan and lay brick, firebrick, cinder and cement block, glass block, terra cotta, and various stone in constructing and repairing such items as foundations, walls, fireplaces, incinerators, walks, and other items of masonry.
- You will plan, lay out and fabricate forms, mix, pour and finish a variety of cement and concrete surfaces and structures.
- You will construct windowsills, mantles, and arches capable of supporting the walls above the openings.
- You will independently plan, layout the work to be done, select the proper tools, determine methods/materials to be used, and accomplish the work in accordance with approved methods.
- You will interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, surveys, work orders, and/or sketches
