    Job Description Summary
    As a Registered Nurse II in the Adult Critical Care Zone, you will provide patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. You will float between the Surgical Trauma Burn ICU, Cardiac ICUs, Medical and Surgical ICUs, and if needed, you may float to Intermediate floors in both the Main Hospital and Ashley River Tower Hospital.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients.
    • Floating between different units, including Surgical Trauma Burn ICU, Cardiac ICUs, Medical and Surgical ICUs.
    • May float to Intermediate floors in both the Main Hospital and Ashley River Tower Hospital.

    Requirements:
    • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required.
    • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.

    Working Conditions:
    • Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, and climbing stairs.
    • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in temperature extremes.
    • Ability to work in confined/cramped spaces and from elevated areas.
