- Career Opportunity: Education and Event Manager with Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) - Columbus, Ohio
- Are you familiar with the ACCME's CME accrediting process?
- The Education and Event Manager is responsible for the overall management and planning of several state specialty society annual meetings and supporting some components of the OSMA annual meeting.
- In addition, the Manager is responsible for directing and maintaining OSMA as an accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME) by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
- Working with the OSMA's practice management educational consultant, speakers, and other staff on the event details.
- Works collaboratively with external entities in a jointly provided relationship in accordance with ACCME accreditation requirements including identifying and recruiting new partners and developing pricing strategies.
- Assists in applying for any additional CEU credits needed (i.e., AAPC)
- Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) and knowledge of AMA PRA and ACCME accreditation and reporting criteria highly desired.
