As a Respiratory Therapist, you'll showcase expertise in treating respiratory conditions for patients of all ages with compassion and professionalism.

In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Managing Critical Care Ventilators, assessing pulmonary conditions, and responding to emergencies.
Conducting arterial blood gas analysis and assisting with Bronchoscopy procedures.
Serving as a knowledgeable resource for medical staff.

Responsibilities:

Tailoring care to different patient populations.
Ensuring patient privacy and providing emotional support.
Adjusting therapy based on individual patient responses.
Monitoring ventilatory status and analyzing data.
Administering respiratory therapies and performing invasive procedures as needed.
Assisting in diagnostic procedures and responding to emergencies.

Education:

Completion of an approved Respiratory Care program.

Certifications:

State of Florida Department of Health License as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
Maintaining NBRC certification.
Basic and Advanced Life Support certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Complexity of Work:

Demonstrating a service-oriented attitude and adaptability.
Meeting performance standards for the role.

Work Experience:

Minimum of one year of clinical experience.

Physical Requirements:

Good manual dexterity and sensory abilities.
Ability to lift and position patients.
Skills in communication and interpretation are essential.

Working Conditions:
