    Description
    Pharmacy Technician

    In this role, you will be responsible for compounding sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical preparations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your duties may include data entry, prescription processing, and supporting laboratory technicians in prescription compounding activities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Familiarize yourself with and adhere to applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) as well as relevant state laws and regulations.
    • You will work directly under the guidance of a pharmacist.

    |The technician serves often acts first point contact customers therefore they greet assisted friendly professional manner|Checking prescriptions completeness entering necessary information computer generate prescription label, invoices required |Filling labeling prepackaging bulk medications medications ancillary kits |Communicating prescribers receive refill authorization |Receives patient refills payments telephone directing calls taking relaying messages |Assisting team lead organization appearance pharmacy front-end ordering pricing merchandise |Performing tasks related capsule preparation oral liquids topical medications nasal preparations suppositories troches tablet triturates lollipops compounded products .|Investigating incident variance documented resolution needed including |Other duties department team lead determines|h3Qualifications/Education Requirements/h3|: High school diploma equivalent Must registered pharmacy technician state applying work Licenses .requirement Ability navigate basic computer systems At least 4 years experience working in pharmacy: Proficient using computer printers fax machines extended periods sitting/standing Effective communication skills via phone email Can lift up pounds vision inspection drug products visual/h1Requirements:
