    My client is currently hiring for a long-term contract opportunity for ETL Automation Tester offering hybrid work at Reston, VA. I have shared the details below in the email about the job role.

    Job Title ETL Automation Tester

    Job Location Reston, VA [Hybrid Work]

    Duration 6 Months [Contract job with potential extensions]

    Job Description

    • At least 5 Years of Experience in ETL Automated Testing and about 8-10 Years of overall Testing experience.
    • ETL SDET with knowledge on Python for automation testing and AWS cloud experience.
    • Knowledge/ experience with AWS services such as Lambda, RDS, Redshift, EC2, EMR etc
    • Good working knowledge on SQL queries, data comparison, data validations, data job loads etc, Autosys job executions
    • Ability to build automation testing frameworks from scratch using Python and AWS Services
    • Demonstrates an understanding of good software engineering practices including CI/CD, Automated testing and Reliability engineering (SRE)
    • Very strong scripting skills with Unix shell scripting, python
    • Strong SQL, UNIX, Autosys and ETL concepts such as 3NF, Dimensional models, facts loads, surrogate key, joins, data comparison across tables, automated job executions, shell scripting.
